In collaboration with the Vice President, Digital Programs and other key internal stakeholders, this position is responsible for executing the organization’s digital program strategy, creation of digital processes, working on key digital/technology program initiatives, and maintaining web and digital properties.


The Director of Digital Programs will work collaboratively across four core areas of programmatic work, helping advance the cause of child protection:

Digital Process & Project Management

    • Work collaboratively with VP, Digital Programs and other leaders to expand, develop, roll-out, and evaluate digital processes throughout the organization
    • Play a leadership role in project management of major digital initiatives including but not limited to website maintenance and or redevelopment, selection and roll-out of new platforms, creation of digital learning content
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to Program Teams related to digital processes/digital project management in a manner that effectively and efficiently brings program goals and work products to life in a digital environment
    • Contribute significantly to change management of digital throughout the organization

    Digital Solutions and Platform

    • Collaborate with VP, Digital Programs to assist in the development of innovative digital tools and technologies to combat child sexual abuse and exploitation and find missing children (e.g., mobile apps, platforms, etc.)
    • Collaborate with outside industry partners and consultants to co-design and catalyze the creation of new technologies, systems, and protocols to safeguard children in digital environments, disrupt the economics of commercial exploitation and find and prosecute child sexual predators; manage vendor and partner relationships effectively

    Analytics and Measurement

    • Effectively track, measure, and report performance of core digital business activities (e.g., website, conversions, app usage, and/or program-specific metrics)
    • Collaborate with the Executive Director for Monitoring & Evaluation to provide regular reporting of digital program activities and impact
    • Make strategic and data-driven recommendations for program optimizations

      Digital Training

      • Work with VP, Digital Programs and other key internal stakeholders to design and implement platforms to deliver training materials, resources, and programs to professionals around the world
      • Work with ICMEC communication teams to design and implement marketing strategies designed to reach target audiences for training solutions at scale (e.g., email platforms, website functionality that assists in direct response conversions, etc.)
      • Optimize training platforms and portals according to industry best practices in user site flow and experience, curriculum design, content strategies
      • Perform other duties as assigned


      • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
      • Three (3) years’ experience in international relations, advocacy, or non-profit work required
      • Demonstrated knowledge of issues related to international child abduction or child exploitation preferred but not required
      • Experience working with overseas entities or international organizations preferred
      • Supervisory experience preferred


      • At least 5-8 years of experience leading and designing impactful digital strategies and solutions
      • Highly effective communicator
      • Ability to collaborate effectively with professionals from diverse backgrounds and expertise
